Did you know there was an *AWARD WINNING NYC Pizzeria in Houston, TX.? That’s right. RC’S NYC Pizza & Pasta, INC. (Now selling franchises). First franchise has been sold to the Sarvadi family from Insperity. To be opened up in New Caney in May 2018.

    *Awards*

March 2009 Pizza Expo- 1st place in my region in the Traditional Category, with a plain cheese pie & 4th overall from all 60 competitors. Up until then no one had entered nor won with a plain cheese pizza.

June 2009- I won 2nd place at the TRA, Best of the Southwest Competition in Dallas with our California Pie.

March 2011- I won 3rd place in the Traditional Division at The Pizza Expo with a plain cheese pie.

March 2013- I won 2nd place in the Traditional Division at The Pizza Expo with a pepperoni & sausage pizza.

January 2015- I won 2nd place in NYC at The Caputo Cup with a plain cheese pie. They usually hold this in Italy. This was the 1st year they came to the states. There were 21 entries here, ALL from NY/NJ but me. 😊

March 2017- 3rd place in the Traditional Division at The Pizza Expo

October 2017- 3rd place in Gluten Free at The Caputo Cup

October 2017- 2nd place in The Barilla Pasta Showdown at The Northeast Pizza & Pasta Expo

YEP! We won 3 awards this year, 2017. NO ONE ELSE FROM Housto, TX. wins at these huge International Competitions. Just us. Seen Marco’s Pizzeria and Pizaro’s Pizza at some competitions. None have won. I would say RC’S NYC Pizza & Pasta is DEFINITELY “Life changing.”

2015 Caputo Cup Judge’s comments: A competition traditionally held in Italy, but held for the first time in America.

“RC’s pie was delicious! A true NY style pizza handcrafted by a man who respects the craft.”
“This pizza proves that world class Pizza makers can be found anywhere . RC Gallegos has beaten the New York pizza makers on their home turf”

Tony Gemignani. -12 Time World Champion

RC’s pie was a memorable one and was one of our top three in the competition. New Yorkers watch out, you got big competition coming straight out of Texas”

    John Arena- 702-376-2280

A judge, Steve Green, from PMQ Magazine described RC’S NYC Pizza & Pasta’s pizza as representing “The quintessential NY Slice”.
