Houston is home to some of the best Yogis, Pilates pros, fitness trainers, nutritionists and more – people who devote their lives to helping the rest of us live a healthier, happier and more peaceful life. We’ll be doing in depth interviews with many of these amazing souls in the coming weeks but we want to give you a quick introduction to some of the city’s wellness pro’s below.

Absolutely love this beautiful family! They each have their own Chiro story: Baby Eli got his first adjustment today just weeks old! He was so calm and relaxed post adjustment. Mama was adjusted throughout her pregnancy. She had a very fast delivery and ended up having baby at home in her bathtub unassisted! Incredible 🙂 Dad came in weeks before baby was due, he was unable to walk or stand up straight due to severe low back pain. Look at him now, feeling great and as happy as could be. FIRE CUPPING 🔥🔥🔥 // Cupping is a traditional Chinese medicine method of therapy that is an effective form of myofascial release. In short, the fascia is a connective tissue that acts like a mesh webbing that is layered on top of the musculoskeletal system that (along with ligaments) holds our organs in place. Injury, scar tissue and inflammatory responses can cause restriction in the fascia often resulting in muscle tension, pain and poor circulation. Slide cupping can help break up adhesions in the fascia, encourage lymphatic drainage and blood circulation. As a result, people experience pain relief, better flexibility and increased blood circulation for faster healing. It's personally one of my favorite therapies.

Running away from allergy season like….🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ •••••••••••••••••• Allergy Season is Among Us!!! – If you’re like me and didn’t know allergy medication is best used as prevention then hiiiii👋👋, welcome to the club!😁 – I had ZERO clue that the best method to avoid allergies is to start taking allergy medicine 1 to 2 weeks before your symptoms appear🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. It’s called allergy pretreatment. – 🔸️What Are Allergies?🔸️ It’s your immune system overreacting to a harmless substance like pollen or pet dander and attacks it. After exposure to such “allergen” your body releases a chemical called histamine into your system which travels through your blood and latches on to histamine receptors on other cells. Once the histamine attaches it causes the cells to swell up leading to inflammation causing these terrible allergy symptoms.😣 – The point of allergy medicine is to help PREVENT the swelling, but that requires us to take it before the swelling happens otherwise it’ll be a lot harder for the medication to reduce the swelling since your body is already under attack. – Lesson majorly learned for me! Every Spring like clockwork my body undergoes extreme attack and leaves me feeling like 💩💩. – Anybody else suffer from allergies??🤔 Don’t let believe I’m the only one having these damn sneeze attacks every hour!! – ➡️➡️I have TWO slots left for 4pm and 5pm Tuesday/Thursday!!!
