Conversations with the Inspiring Brianne Thomas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianne Thomas.

So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Oh wow! Well, my journey has been a long one full of twists and turns, but I’m grateful to be where I am after many years of hard work. I got started as a Graphic Designer when I needed a “back up plan” for photography. I started my business about three years ago and I haven’t looked back! I’ve been a photographer for almost ten years and a designer for five.

Has it been a smooth road?
Absolutely not, lol! Probably not the answer you were looking for? But my journey has DEFINITELY been full of learning lessons, growing pains, exciting and amazing moments, and a mash-up of hills and valleys to get me to where I am now! I always advise young designers, photographers, or just entrepreneurs, in general, to just keep going and don’t give up. You will be your own worst critic and hold yourself back, but I challenge you to go into this adventure with an open mind and a passion for chasing your dreams.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into B. Creative Company story. Tell us more about it.
I specialize in branding development & design as well as brand photography! I work with a lot of small business owners (and corporate companies every now and again), and my job is to bring their passions and dreams to life through their brand! I dedicate myself and my company to developing the highest quality brands & creative services, delivered with imagination, heart, + originality.

I would say I’m most proud of how far I’ve come in such a short amount of time. I’ve had my photography published in major publications. I’ve had my design work featured in People magazine and POPSUGAR. But most importantly I’m most proud that I’ve been able to be myself and tell people’s stories. I’m a big storyteller and learning the heart behind each and every single business I work with is so important to me. I want to tell their stories and let the world know who they are! I don’t just book clients, they become like family and I continue to cheer them on throughout their journey!

Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
Absolutely! I didn’t have the best support for what I wanted to do for a living, and instead of letting it eat me up and discourage me, I used it to push and drive me to where I am. If you want something badly enough, you’ll do what it takes to get there. And that’s exactly what I did and continue to do.
