Daily Inspiration: Meet Demione Louis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Demione Louis. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Demione spent his early years in South Florida however, was relocated to Orlando Florida in 1996 during his early teenage years. He started rapping at age 17 and grew up listening to artists such as 2Pac, Biggie, Busta Rhymes, and Juvenile. Raised in a single-parent household by his mother along with his 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Never smooth, never easy, but always worth it. Prior to my rap career, I had a history of battery and armed robbery offenses influenced by my friends at the time. Growing up in poverty influenced feelings like failure and hopelessness, but I later discovered that poverty is simply a mindset. It wasn’t overnight but I soon changed my life and used music to encourage myself and others as well.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
When I am not recording music, I am a graphic designer. Designing all of the artwork for my music releases is part of my artistic process. As a graphic designer, I have also learned how to use marketing to my advantage. I use these skills to grow my fan base and I enjoy helping other music artists do the same.

Any big plans?
I plan on improving as a person which will reflect in my music. I am looking forward to obtaining my first Platinum Plaque which will validate all the hard work me and my team have displayed. I also look forward to helping other artists start and maintain their music careers.
