Today we’d like to introduce you to JoAnn And Daniel Clark.

Hi JoAnn and Daniel , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was a stay at home. Mom and Daniel was a truck driver for 30 years and our son was in high school so we decided to do this so Daniel could be home and we could spend more time as he was growing up as a family. Daniel watched tons of YouTube videos to start out how to make dough we did several Practice runs at our house in our house oven And as we progressed, we started having our friends and family come and taste test our pizzas and they said y’all got something going on so we decided to go ahead and start having our trailer built and we actually went to pizza college in Colorado to learn how to work a Woodfire oven. We learned how to make our own dough we learned how to use Fresh ingredients. And the rest is history.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s definitely been a process. Lots of trial and errors I think one of the hardest struggles was trying to find a permanent place to park the trailer so we’d have a designated spot for people to come and taste our creations also, the hardest was just getting our name out but after a while we started getting invited to do events and that was always fun getting to meet new people and now we have a permanent spot downtown

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I think what separates us from others is that we actually make our own dough actually knead it by hand. We do not use a machine. Another thing is that we actually use 00 flour from Italy it’s a lot better for people who have sensitivity stomach issues you don’t get that bloated feeling it just sets real nice.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes us happy are our loyal customers or returning customers or customers that have tried our pizza for the first time and intentionally come back and let us know that it’s the best pizza that they’ve had and that they will return and tell other people about our establishment
