Meet Cedrick Forrest

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cedrick Forrest.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As young boy growing up in Paris, TX, I’ve always had big city dreams. After high school, I went to the military where I was a Hospital Corpsman who rendered emergency medical treatment in combat. During my time in the military, I was deployed to Iraq. Deployment gave me a sense of empowerment to help those who are in need. My fight for people as a lawyer comes through assisting those who may be injured. Unlike many lawyers, my background in medicine helps me day-to-day to achieve the best results for my clients. After attending the University of Houston and University of Houston Law Center, I acquired multiple opportunities to work under some of Texas’ top attorneys. I’ve dealt with over 300 cases from Corpus Christi, Dallas, and many other cities within Texas to represent clients who needed a win in their lives.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road will never be smooth when you have so much to fulfill. I was a foster care kid going from pillow to post until I was adopted by a single mother who showed my brother and I what love truly means. From time to time, I’m reminded of my past but as a husband, a father of two, I push through. Every case won’t be easy but they should be looked at as learning obstacles and I will always fight for the truth in the face of injustice.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Cedrick D. Forrest Law, PLLC. – what should we know?
I run my own company, Cedrick D. Forrest Law, PLLC., where we specialize in personal injury and civil litigation.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I’m thankful for my family and the opportunity to structure balance between a work-life relationship. What does Aristotle, Steve Jobs, Nelson Mandela and even Superman have in common? They were all adopted as children like myself. I’m thankful for all those who took the time to give me advice and even those who decided to ride along with me on my journey through the years.
