Today we’d like to introduce you to Claire Lee.
Claire, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
ClairebearBlogs was born in 2017 when Claire had so many ideas and information to share, hoping the things she knows can help other people.
The first few months, I didn’t promote any of my articles due to fear of rejection. With English as my second language, I knew my writing wasn’t perfect; but I wanted to be better at what I am not good at, and I knew with consistent writing and practice, it would improve. I am still learning as I go.
Shortly, I figured if I don’t put myself and my work out there, no one will read about what I want to share with them. So I announced my blog and surprisingly a lot of my friends supported me. They enjoyed my posts and started to share posts with others as well. This encouraged me to write quality content and pushed me to become the trusted source that people want to come back to.
I constantly have so many things on my mind I want to express and share with others. But social media platforms like Instagram or Facebook is not enough to go in detail. With ClairebearBlogs, I can share all the fun adventures, solo travels, mouth-watering food photos, where I am eating, where I am staying, what events to go to, how everything went, my future advice, tips, and reviews.
Writing calms me and gives me ME time where I can organize my thoughts. I love what I am doing and it excites me. But the best part would be people like you letting me know that my articles were helpful. You are pretty much browsing through my life episodes but in the form of a fun, condensed book.
Running your own business and with the amount of competition in the food and travel industry, it definitely takes a lot of effort, motivation, dedication and focuses to become recognized by others. I spend hours and hours everyday planning, proofreading, and writing to produce good content.
Has it been a smooth road?
It definitely is a bumpy road just because sometimes things go sideways or unexpected problems arise. The biggest one I’ve had before would be a company wanting you to work for free or not creating an equally beneficial relationship as business partners. But you can never sell yourself short. You are putting hours in the content you are creating and you quickly learn from these situations.
Being a part of the blogging community and associating yourself with like-minded people really helps.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
There probably won’t be a slow down in food and travel industry for the next five years. Every day new restaurants open and more people are willing to travel. Bloggers like me will have endless topics to write about. Healthy food trends, robotics, and technology will keep evolving.
