Courtney, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Glamour Avenue Parties grew from a hobby of planning parties and events for friends and family as well as an interest in children’s event planning. As interest grew, so did my thoughts on expanding my reach to a larger client base.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have most definitely been some challenges, in the beginning, I was unable to obtain bank loans for startup materials. So, with each payment I received from each party, I slowly began purchasing materials and built my inventory over time.

Glamour Avenue Parties is an award-winning, event design boutique specializing in spa and beauty-themed parties for girls ages 6- 14! We are not a bus, however, we offer our completely mobile parties, to our client’s venue of choice, throughout the Houston, Texas and surrounding metro areas. Our Team will come in and transform the space for a glamorous time.
We are most proud of building our business from the ground up and meeting a need for mobile children’s events in the Houston area since 2010.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
We are a small, family-owned company and we tend to treat our clients like family. While we are in the homes of our clients, we have fun with the guests and keep everyone engaged for a fun celebratory experience.
