Meet Diana Bressani of Yoga Pod West Houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Bressani.

Diana, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
We moved to Houston in February 2015 and after a year filled with many twists and turns, both professional and personal, we found ourselves at a crossroads – either we pack up and leave or settle here and make Houston our home. During this indecisive period, we stumbled across the opportunity to invest in Yoga Pod and it all made perfect sense from that point onwards.

Both myself and my husband (Guido) had been practicing yoga for a while and loved the idea of becoming a part of a growing industry.

It took just under a year from signing the franchise agreement to opening our doors for business on February 24th 2017. After an initial slow start in locating and securing the perfect property, things moved quickly from the design process through to the construction phase.

We are enjoying creating our very own community in West Houston, servicing corporate and residential areas nearby. We believe our location and aesthetic is a perfect mix and are loving being a part of the community.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There are always challenges when you embark on a project and we keep telling ourselves, nothing worth having in life comes easy!

The main challenge was finding the perfect location, this took several months longer than we had hoped. But everything fell into place and we couldn’t be happier with our location.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Yoga Pod West Houston – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Yoga Pod West Houston runs over 60 classes per week within our 3 streams, flow, tone and detox.

Flow – Yoga for all levels – We love beginners!!

Tone – Barre and Fit Classes

Detox – Hot and HotVinFusion Classes

Plus, our restorative Yin classes which focus on breathing and holding stretches for 1 to 3 minutes to help with mobility.

We have a contemporary, bright and pristine environment. Our two rooms have lots of natural light and the outlook is peaceful amongst the trees.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We would like to continue to grow our community and raise awareness of our presence in the area.

Once established, we would also like to commence our teacher training programs – in particular our 200 hr. Seva teacher training and our 60 hr. PodHot teacher training.
