Today we’d like to introduce you to Estefannie.
Estefannie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computers Science and a mathematics minor. Ever since I’ve worked as a software engineer.
I started making projects with electronics as a hobby back in 2016 and decided to share my process of making on YouTube. By sharing my mistakes as part of my learning process, I hope to inspire others to start making STEM projects, build more things, and not be afraid of making mistakes along the way.
This has led me to attend and speak at amazing events such as: Talent Land (Guadalajara), Maker Faire Bay Area, Maker Faire NYC, Hackaday L.A., and Mujeres en Tecnologia (Mexico City).
I’ve also met amazing people along the way.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I think every mistake, burn, and cut has been crucial to my journey. Without these, there would be no channel.
Estefannie Explains It All – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I like to play with electronics, make robots, program, film, and share it all on social media. I am the proudest of my community on Instagram and YouTube. My goal is to inspire anyone who is interested in STEM via cool projects.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success by time. If I have time to do what I want, then I’ve achieved success.
