Meet Keith Myers, Matthew Iulo and Graig Lauricella of Scalp Micro USA in Galleria Area

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keith Myers, Matthew Iulo, and Graig Lauricella.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Keith, Matthew, and Graig. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Scalp Micro USA was founded in August 2015 with the vision of reinventing the way people treat hair loss. We believe that just because you lose your hair does not mean it has to change who you are and how you feel. It’s not just about giving clients the best quality service and result, but giving them back what they have since lost.

Our vision is to build a community of men and women that have overcome the struggle of hair loss. Scalp Micro USA restores confidence and helps revitalize a person’s image. We want clients to leave our office feeling the best versions of themselves.

Historically, hair loss has been treated with either medication that carry real side effects, serious hair loss surgeries, or short-term hair loss concealers. We found these methods to be very outdated and ineffective. People are searching for an alternative hair loss solution that is natural, easy to maintain and stylish.

Houston is the premier location for scalp micropigmentation (SMP). Lead by Graig Lauricella, a highly esteemed practitioner with over seven years of experience, treating more than 4,000 clients struggling with hair loss.

Has it been a smooth road?
We’ve been fortunate to see propelled business growth since we opened.

In Houston, we spent a lot of time building community awareness by working with barbershops and local businesses to expand our reach. Our business is digitally focused on finding new customers that are searching for hair loss solutions.

Since opening, we’ve grown from a handful of clients a month to having a 2-4 week wait list. We’ve also launched a product line called Folicule, which makes Professional and Consumer facing products related to hair loss. Also, we launched our third clinic in Los Angeles, California and plan to open two more clinics by the end of 2019.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-invasive treatment that uses detailed micro-needles to deposit pigment into the scalp. The result creates the appearance of tiny hair follicles that help thicken and restore the look of fuller hair. If you are starting to thin, recede, or if you are completely bald, we can give you the look of a short buzz cut.

When administered by a trained and licensed specialist, the Scalp Micropigmentation treatment can restore receded hairlines, thicken remaining hair, camouflage transplant scarring, and create the look of close-cropped hair.

Scalp Micropigmentation is also effective for those suffering from minor hair thinning or recession. By accurately replicating your own natural hair follicles and hair color, scalp micropigmentation can help strengthen and add density to thinning areas, creating an undetectable illusion of thicker, stronger hair.

To create the appearance of hair, Scalp Micro USA practitioners use cosmetic pigmentation and state-of-the-art equipment to create your desired hairline, add density to thinning areas, and blend into your existing hair for a seamless look.

Scalp pigmentation requires little to no continued maintenance and carries no strict lifestyle or daily restrictions. It replicates the look of a buzz cut, fresh out of the barbershop. Our clients spend half the time getting ready!

We are most proud of the feedback we receive from clients. When clients tell us that this has changed their life, that they feel like themselves again, that they go out more, spend more time with their significant others and are not looking in the mirror – that brings us the most joy as a company.

Our experience and results set us apart from competition. We have the largest portfolio of quality work in the United States. Our company is built on people, experience, and skill. Each one of our clinics embodies the style and artistry of its practitioners and neighborhood. You will find consistent quality work across all clinics, which is something we as a team pride ourselves on more than anything else. Someone told us the other day that “we are the standard in the industry” and to us, there is no better compliment!

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Houston has been a wonderful city! When we first went to look at office locations, our real estate, our broker said: “You’re going to like doing business in Texas!” That was our “knighting” for what has been a great experience.

We would recommend starting a business in Houston, it’s a great place for small businesses.
