Has it been a smooth road?
Having your own business is not easy. It comes with a lot of nights without sleep. It is not a job that you go from 8 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday. Family support and your vision are what keeps you going. We run half and full marathons and we compare our business with the sport that we both enjoy practicing.

It is not a matter of who gets to the finish line first but who can enjoy the course, keeps on going without giving up besides the obstacles along the way and having the determination of reaching the goal you set to yourself. We celebrate every accomplishment, small, medium or big. It is a great satisfaction and a great blessing to wake up every day with a smile because we are doing what we love.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Macaw Confections story. Tell us more about the business.
In Macaw Confections we are hardcore chocolate lovers but we are health conscious too.

Macaw Confections satisfies chocolate lovers’ cravings with guilt-free indulgences made from healthy, ethically sourced ingredients.

Our products are free of trans fat, cholesterol, gluten, dairy, preservatives, and artificial colors and flavors. They’re also vegan. We use dark chocolate from beans source from sustainable farms. We are committed to food safety, sustainability, and social accountability. We purchase our handmade gift bags, baskets, and hot chocolate tablets from women artisans in Guatemala.

That is why our motto is “Chocolates without regrets”.

Always pursuing innovating, as engineers we are proud to create any form and any shape with chocolate. We are very well known for our chocolate marketing since we can replicate almost any design on chocolate, for example, corporate logos as give away, wedding logos, birthday favors, cake toppers, Christmas ornaments to name a few.
