Meet Myron Evans of Culture Studios in Northwest

Today we’d like to introduce you to Myron Evans.

Myron, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Myron Evans better known as culture. I am the sole founder of the company “Culture Studios. Since a young boy, my style & creativeness has been a few of the many memorable things consumers and peers found that stood out of my statue. We specialize in creative services such as fashion photography, styling, creative direction and model talent booking services. I always knew I would dabble in the fashion industry at one point or another, I just didn’t know with what, I went to college for business administration and fashion merchandising for a year and a half in Houston TX soon after high school.

I’ve always been a businessman with good fashion sense so it was easy for me. But one thing I didn’t know was that most things as far as photography and fashion is concerned is based on field experience. You have to actually make mistakes and take risks (which was something already mastered). I began shooting brands along with couture designs with friends and locals to build my network. I was focused. I moved from having a phone full of associates to have a phone full of business contacts. Ever since then, my focus has been fashion and photography along with the creative production needs to put things together. I’ve shoot at New York Fashion Week, as well as local couture shows in Houston and other cities.

Currently, I work for a fashion marketing and production company based in NYC along with a day job. We’re preparing for NYFW 2018 in July and September. As a company, we love working with and meeting new creatives that can talk the talk and walk the walk.

Freedom, creativity, edginess & fashion is what we value. freedom to be yourself, creativity to create and visualize, edginess to break the rules and take risks & fashion to be as free, creative, stylish and expressive as possible.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to success is never smooth, but to answer the question, no. I’ve always believed in letting people dig their own holes, but I was also big on giving people the benefit of the doubt. Once I realized that giving everyone the benefit of the doubt to build my team wasn’t going to get me where I needed to be, I stopped instantly. Everyone doesn’t have the same intentions or energy to be apart of something foreshadowed to be great and leave a legacy.

Please tell us about Culture Studios.
My company was based on fashion design in the beginning. I was involved with fashion production at the time so and couldn’t afford a reasonable photographer to shoot my designs so I began shooting my designs personally.

Eventually photography and fashion I started working with hand and hand. Currently, I style, creative direct, book and shoot all of my photo-shoots. We specialize in fashion photography, creative direction, styling and model talent booking services. I’m known for my outgoing edgy personality and my authentic eye for certain key-points in my field.

I’m most proud of my company employee expansion. Others run with the crowd, we make the crowd run to us. Freedom.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
