Meet Nina Taylor of The Suite Faith

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nina Taylor.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I grew up in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas with a BBA in Business Management. Since I was a little girl, I always loved going to open houses on Sunday afternoons and picking up apartment guides to view brand new homes. It was what I loved, and I’ve always had a passion to find people homes!

After a few years in 2005, I decided to take a huge leap of faith and moved to New York City and began climbing the corporate ladder in the furnished housing industry. It’s typically known as serviced apartments, and I assisted clients traveling within fashion, food & beverage, consumer products and other fortunes 500 companies needing relocation services for 30 days or longer.

I’ve worked for some of the top companies in the world within my field and have been very blessed to build my career to this point. This career has also allowed me to visit many cities throughout the US, Canada, and the UK. About two years ago I transferred to Houston, Texas and started my own luxury travel accommodations company in the fall of 2018.

With a growing real estate market, vast culture and amazing food options, downtown Houston have been the best of both worlds for a southern city lady like me.

Has it been a smooth road?
The road has not been smooth, and that’s an understatement, to say the least. When you leave the workforce and bet on yourself, the biggest struggle is your own FEAR! I had many doubts but what kept me going and still does is my faith in God. I’ve never given up on myself, and I wasn’t about to now.

After 18 years of doing what I love, I was finally about to streamline it into my own terms, and that makes me excited and blessed each and everyday. Now there is a genuine purpose to the sacrifices I’m making and the impact it has on my brand that I’m building. There is never a dull day, but the problems now seem exciting to solve because my lifesaver is my inner circle.

Having family and friends around that provide the motivation and pep talks you need on the days you struggle can really motivate you. I also have a fantastic business coach who helped me figure out everything from creating my LLC, sales structure, business plan, and accounting functions. The key is consistency and once you maintain that you can get through anything.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into The Suite Faith, LLC story. Tell us more about the business.
The Suite Faith, LLC is a luxury travel accommodations company. We specialize in assisting faith-based companies and specialty groups within ALL industries for their short-term housing and travel needs. As the founder and CEO, I oversee all functions of the company and the client experience.

Our main markets are Texas and New York, but with almost two decades of relationships throughout the US and beyond, we can assist clients with stays anywhere they need. Our goal is to give each client personalized service for their travels so that we do the work and they enjoy their experience.

What truly sets us apart is the vast provider options that we can select from. Unlike other companies where you have to go through only hotel options or a corporate housing company and the most common now is booking an individual’s apartment or home our team has an extensive provider list that will vet the best option for each guest’s travel plans.

Also, when you become a Suite Faith member, you can get other services such as car services, competitive flight options, and other concierge options.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The travel and hospitality industry is being transformed by technology each and every year. Along with anyone being able to provide short-term housing to a guest, the demands will continue to grow, and it will be important to stay ahead of the guest’s needs.

They want easy and reliable options when it comes to traveling, and it is important for travel and housing providers to keep up with the demand of these needs, so companies and individuals have a reason to stay loyal.

Customization will be a key element of maintaining clients and continuing to improve on how an organization can receive direct, reliable and consistent contact throughout the business partnership.
