Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul and Tenesha Williams.
Paul and Tenesha, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Paul has always been into t-shirts and the quality of them. He is was raised in the Bay Area and wearing white t-shirts was a thing. Very simple clothing attire with a crisp white t-shirt. For years he has dreamed of having his own t-shirt company and sharing his love with t-shirts to masses. So three years ago, we decided to take the leap into the business. It’s has been a fun and amazing journey. KicKnowledge Ink is not just about shirts though it’s about sharing positive messages you people and Kickin’ Knowledge. Encouraging & uplifting which is why there is a blog attached to the brand. We want to a positive influence in the lives of many. So we have so much more in the works as far as creating literature for people and podcast, all those things are currently in the works. People have always navigated toward us for advice and looked to us when they are down and want their spirits uplifted so that’s how the name “KicKnowledge Ink” was birthed.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been fairly smooth along the way, I think when we first launched it was a bit of a shock to see how much support we did not receive, but as we continue to grow we have learned that people just want to she that your business isn’t just a fly by night thing. They want to see that others support & follow you as well. This has been a great experience, we have learned so much and our customers are the best and extremely loyal.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the KicKnowledge Ink story. Tell us more about the business.
As mentioned earlier, we are known for our t-shirts. We specialize in kicking knowledge to our customers. We created kick knowledge as a platform to encourage and uplift people. We have always been a fan of a crisp white tee and decided to start by creates t-shirts where we kick knowledge. Before the shirts there has been a blog. What sets us apart from others in the t-shirt industry is that we’re just jot about shirts, it’s a part of us. We have Ed a background in education, we have always been the type of person where our friends & family would fall us for advice. We have always been in the business of uplifting so that’s what KicKnowledge Ink was built upon.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
We have Ed noticed TI trend shift from plain black and white tee to now all of the colors (bright colors). It is an industry that will continue to allow people to be creative. I see the trend staying constant for a while but there is always involvement so we interested to see where it goes and will be staying current on the new trends.
