Meet Sami Toussi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sami Toussi.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Sami. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
At first, studying personal development was a hobby of mine. I was so inspired by my teachers the Dalai Lama, Thicht Nat Hahn, Louise Hays and Tony Robbins. I read their books so many times that the pages became my own life script. That’s when I decided to share what I’d learned with others so they can improve their lives too! Now I’m a personal coach. It all comes down to believing that you are good enough and having faith in the ability to achieve your dreams. And until you believe it for yourself, I’m here to remind you of your power.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t always been easy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My struggles have helped me better understand the everyday struggles of the business owners I empower on a day to day basis. There’s a quote that I love by Madeline L’Engle. “Maybe you have to know the darkness before you can appreciate the light.” My struggles have taught me how to guide my clients through their personal darkness towards the light.

We’d love to hear more about your business.

What were you like growing up?
I was actually really shy as a child. I was a wallflower – just wanting to blend in and not stand out from the rest. For example, I remember in elementary school always hiding when the teacher asked for volunteers. Then in high school, I would eat lunch in the bathroom because I didn’t feel like I had a close group of friends. It wasn’t until university that I realized I needed to change to reach my full potential. So, I began to speak up, get involved and let my personality shine. I started to challenge myself in every area of my life, and in the process learned that I love public speaking. I was actually not so shy after all! To date, I’ve been able to travel across the world, hosting over 70 workshops across four continents. I’ve also mixed my business and psychology background to personally coach small business owners and professionals across 60 nationalities scale their business and create lasting success.
