Meet Thieron Robertson of Macros in Katy/Cypress

Today we’d like to introduce you to Thieron Robertson.

Thieron, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Macros started after I lost everything in Hurricane Harvey and needed something to put my effort into because I was in a dark place.

Has it been a smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road but nothing worth having is built on a smooth road. Some of the struggles are mostly mental but we make sure the struggles are handled before we make another step.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Macros – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Business is a meal prepping/catering, we prep meals for those who either don’t have time to cook or those whose are looking for something quick and healthy, we also have meal plans for athletes, office workers and personal trainers who don’t have the time to sit and cook, we do that for them. We are known for our healthy but tasty meals that show how many carbs, calories and protein is in each meal. I’m most proud of how much support we are getting locally from our meals, cause a part of any chef always has self-doubts and things that could have been better after it’s been sent out, but that’s where my partners Juan and Justin come in at, cause where I lack, they catch onto and vice versa, it’s pretty well balanced here.

And what sets us apart from others is the presence of compassion and not looking at it like a competition, w push our product to the point of over-saturation, we put our best into everything. Not only are we a meal prepping business but we also have a group of personal trainers, nutritionist and fitness entrepreneurs that we are planning a lot of events with like fitness expos, dodgeball games and just events to get people active in a fun way, we have a lot coming that’s for sure.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The best thing about this city is the socializing and meeting all the wonderful people here, the least I like is the traffic, but then again who loves to sit in traffic.
