Zaneta, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Welcome to my story. Going back to childhood, I’ve always been extremely creative and loved bringing my visions to life so that’s helpful info when it comes to why I choose Microblading as my passion/career. When I discovered 3D Eyebrow Microblading at the end of 2016, I was instantly hooked. I loved how natural and realistic Microblading can look when you go to the right Microblading Artist. So, I went to work hard, researching everything I could find on the Microblading topic including who the Top Microblading Instructors were in our city. After weeks and weeks of narrowing things down, I finally picked who I wanted to train with. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. In March 2017, I completed my 1-on-1 course with Master Brow Tech Maggie Noel and I was officially a Certified Microblading Specialist! I have been completely dedicated to and focused on bringing my visions to life since Day 1. I designed my logo, created my brand, and launched my website within 3 weeks of becoming a Certified Microblading Specialist I was so determined, there was no looking back. And the rest is history, now, here we are in July 2018 and I’ve transformed the lives of hundreds of individuals by simply doing what I love and creating the most natural-realistic looking eyebrows for each individual client. I love what I do and most of all, it shows in my work and my attitude.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Yes, there’s definitely been several bumps in the road. Especially, in the beginning when you’re trying to get started. For me, finances were a huge issue in the beginning. I was a stay-at-home mom of 3 little girls and my husband and I pretty much were paycheck to paycheck. So, what I did was invest all of my tax money and a credit card to fund my start-up. I knew deep down I wasn’t going to give up, failure was not an option, and I was going to make all that money back. No exceptions. I never second guessed myself, I knew in my heart this was my calling. It made me happy to do eyebrows and I knew I was really good at it.
My advice is: If you really want to do something, don’t let obstacles stay in your way. There’s always a way to make something happen if you want it bad enough. Keep on trying because failure only happens when you stop putting in the effort. Just keep on trying and eventually, you will get there.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Microblading By Z – what should we know?
I am a 3D Eyebrow Microblading Specialist and the owner of Microblading By Z. My job is to create the most natural-realistic looking tattooed Eyebrows in the industry. This is only Semi-Permanent eyebrow tattooing also known as eyebrow embroidery, so completely different from the old-school traditional block-style eyebrow tattoos from back in the day. The type of clients that benefit from 3D Microblading is everyone who wants more defined brows without having to pencil/fill them in daily or worry about them sweating off in this humid weather we all deal with in Texas. Haha. Also to mention, I’m the #2 rated Microblading Artist on Google for 5-Star Reviews. Woot woot! Truly such an honor to be in this industry and changing lives by giving my clients an amazing new set of eyebrows that are so realistic that others wouldn’t even be able to tell if it’s tattooed or if it’s real. And that’s always the goal.
