Meet Victor and Samuel Salinas of Trillvill Houston in The Heights

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victor and Samuel Salinas.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Victor and Samuel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
TRILLVILL HOUSTON started in 2013. We both have always had a love for streetwear, fashion, and design. We first started by printing shirts that we wanted to wear. Soon after people started asking for their own shirts and items. So in 2016, we officially started selling our products in the Houston area. Three years later, we have sold products all around the country. Now we are constantly learning how to grow the brand.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but we didn’t expect it to be easy. The first few months we had to find our way. We had to meet and network with people in the industry. Once we made those relationships, we started to increase sales and get our name out there. Thankfully we have a good support group to help us get our name out there. From family to friends to locals who just like what we do. Our goal is to keep growing.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about TRILLVILL HOUSTON – what should we know?
Created and based in Houston, Texas, TRILLVILL HOUSTON is a collective that offers clothing, accessories, art, and also creative art direction for local business in Houston. Our purpose is to promote the deep-rooted culture of Houston through our products and services. We have been influenced by Houston rap, anime, sports teams, food spots, and most of all the people. Being a part of our community is the most important thing to us.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Our family and friends supported us from the start. Our parents have contributed every day. Our significant others are always offering support. Outside of that, the support we received from local businesses has played a major role in our growth.
