Today we’d like to introduce you to Juliana Buenrostro.
Juliana, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I have been passionate about photography since I knew what a camera was! Those who know me know that I love to take pictures of everything and everyone. I never pursued photography after high school, I joined the military and then life took off. It was not until about two years ago that I decided to go ahead and offer people in my area photography services and for free!! It was a blast and I loved doing it I just never thought about making a business out of it I was too scared to leave the corporate world to pursue something that I loved, but here we are God has his plans and I am a stay at home mom now who is working on making this dream of having a photography business a reality!
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I believe that God has given me the talent to be a creative person and that is what I want my clients to see when they look at their photographs. I want them to see the beauty that God has created! I am an outdoor photographer and the country is my heaven, for now, I love the nude and pastel colors I want my clients to see their photographs and love every single one of them I want to be able to tell a story through the photographs and most importantly I want them to have great memories about their session. At the end of the day, I am just the girl behind the camera clicking away and God is the one who created the beauty of nature and the awesome people that I am so lucky to photograph!
How can artists connect with other artists?
Feeling lonely is never a good thing but one thing is for sure, that no matter how lonely you think you may be you are NEVER alone God is always there!! Social media is definitely a great source for an artist to get to know other artists I can not disagree with that BUT we do tend to socialize through our phones A LOT! I think that we should be more proactive and actually get together maybe for coffee and actually socialize in person!
