We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Taking a leap of faith and quitting my 9-5 job was very challenging to begin working on my own business. I’m taking my precious time on building my empire. When you’re serious about your business… you treat it like it’s your child. You nurture it and watch it blossom. You have to remain as humble, motivated! It’s not as easy as most think. It takes time and dedication.

Stylez by Sistaz INC is a private label cosmetic company specializing in handmade, non-cruelty, paraben free and gluten free products. Strive to bring aspiring entrepreneurs ideas and aspirations to life with formulating their own personal cosmetic line. Stylez by Sistaz also serves as an in a home-based boutique with clothing, accessories such as handmade beaded bracelets, sunglasses and much more.
Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
Growing up, I always had a passion for fashion and owning my own business. As I got older, I realized working for someone else to carry out their dream was not something I wanted to do. I took the initiative to brainstorm and plan out my business. I created my 5-year business plan back in high school and believe it or not, I didn’t act on it until January of 2014.
