Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandria Serna.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I’ve always been interested in art I’ve always love to draw and paint, and I saw that in doing nails that I can be creative and use different colors and different glitters and that’s what really attracted me to nails.
Please tell us about your art.
I consider myself a nail artist not a manicurist the reason why is because I like to bring my creativity to the nails and my message to people is express yourself in any way possible there’s people that express themselves through makeup, through their clothes, my way of expression is through nails.
We often hear from artists that being an artist can be lonely. Any advice for those looking to connect with other artists?
I feel like social media plays a big role in getting yourself out there and your artwork out a lot of artists spend their time focused on their art and not a lot of time socializing but I feel like posting pictures and showing your artwork is a great way of socializing that way people ask about your work and want to know what your artwork means .
How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
I like to display my work on Instagram or people can simply just come by and get a set of nails done. Sharing my pictures is also a great way of support.
