Selling frames isn’t just for fun; it’s my passion! Ever since a young age, my hobby was always hustling.
From selling candy to selling a whole corner store of different snacks, I’ve always had the drive to be self-sufficient. As I grew older as almost every girl would, I eventually started falling in love with fashion. For some girls it’s heels, and for some, it’s dressed, but for me, it was framed. I love all kinds of frames!
From vintage to urban, as well as big and small. The frames you wear can change your entire appearance and boost your confidence like no other. I basically started my passion for selling sunglasses as an idea and brought it to reality. This is why the idea of mingling my obsession for frames and my hustler mentality led me to my “aha” moment. I hit the ground running and haven’t looked back since.
I knew right then and there that my obsession and my passion together would bring me happiness, also the beginning of something that’s not just for fun, but for my future. This is more than just frames this is showing people of all ages that you can follow your dreams no matter what. My whole purpose is to put smiles on the faces of all nationalities.
I’ve gotten where I am today by the Grace of God, family, and friends that support me no matter what. I have customers that ask how do I keep going and not give up, my go-to answer is and always will be PRAYER! Selling glasses won’t be the only thing you’ll see my name attached to, as for now make sure you Catch The Kouture Shade!
Has it been a smooth road?
Since the very beginning, it’s been a pretty smooth road. Even though it may sound funny, I would say the only struggle is finding a certain pair of frames that fits a customers face that lives out of state. I get messages all the time asking to ship frames that fits them. I do my very best and never let them down.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Kouture Frames – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
My business is strictly placing a smile on a face, oh and not mention let them pick out something that may turn heads and catch a few eyes.
I would say I specialize in making people look even better than what they already do by just adding a nice pair of Kouture Frames to their life. What normally sets me apart from others is my personality and my loving spirit and customer service. Without those, you won’t go far trust me!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and the least?
I truly believe that our city by far the greatest city to ever start up any form of business. For a startup, Houston would always be the place to be.
Nothing but love from everywhere is given and shown throughout every little part of the magnificent heart of the H! I love my city and wouldn’t trade it for any other place on this earth.
