Meet Kyle Jones of iCRYO Cryotherapy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Jones.

Kyle, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was pursuing my doctorate in Physical therapy at the time. I was working at an outpatient clinic when I was introduced to cryotherapy and was immediately intrigued by this type of modality. Doing more research, I found that this was created back in 1978 by a Japanese scientist that was treating Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. It was the new age of total body recovery and controlling your daily inflammation without using medication. The more fascinating part was the treatment was only 2-3 minutes long. This technology had the ability to treat something that everyone in the world suffers from, inflammation, and do it in such a quick time.

Most people these days want instant gratification but most of the time to get a quick fix is not always the healthiest option. With cryotherapy, it was the best of both worlds. It created quick results and was a healthy treatment to do for the body. I operated the cryo division of that physical therapy clinic for three years then my entrepreneur mind kicked in and realized if I could create systems around this therapy and bring it to the masses that it could be a very successful business model on its own. Over time I hired key people that would become my corporate staff. Building the infrastructure was crucial to franchising a business model. We launched our first full retail location in 2015 and started to scale the business. In 2017, we launched our franchise model and started selling locations.

As of today, we have 6 locations open, five more in construction and nine more in development. We have centers in Texas, New York and will launch Florida this summer with many other territories in the US under review for development. Creating a company was easy, creating a franchise model was a pivotal point in the cryotherapy industry and creating a brand was most crucial. Just recently we brought on star linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, Jaylon Smith, as an Equity Partner and brand ambassador to our team. Not only does he represent iCRYO as a professional athlete and public figure but as an investor/owner. We are in talks with two other public figures that will help us brand our company in multiple ways across the globe and we intend to take the lion share of the projected $5 Billion Dollar cryotherapy industry by 2024.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road as we have had to create everything from scratch. This is a brand new industry with no data to form systems off of. I tell people all the time that we “failed our way to the top”. We found every way not to do something in order to find the only way to do it in the cryotherapy industry. We made mistakes to ensure that the people buying into our franchise model were set up for success and did not have to go through the same struggles we went through.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with iCRYO Cryotherapy – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We specialize in cryotherapy services such as Whole Body Cryotherapy, Cryo Facials, localized cryotherapy, Compression Therapy, Infrared Sauna Therapy, and CryoSkin Body Contouring. I am most proud of the people that are affiliated with this company. “Alignment before assignment”, We would be nowhere without the people that help drive this company forward everyday. Our company culture is what sets us apart from everyone else. We are not a company, we are a family!

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Houston is a city with amazing growth and potential. It’s a very diverse city. I like to spend time outside and having the beach and the bay within driving distance is a nice thing. My wife and I love to visit good restaurants with great food and the city of Houston has tons of them. I don’t like how the entire city seems to be under construction 24/7. Since I was a kid I think that I have lived my entire life seeing Houston under some form of construction.
