Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney and Brittany Cross, Ashley Breaux.
Courtney, Brittany, Ashley, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We’ve dreamed of being business owners since we were very young. Our father owned a successful cleaners business, growing up, and he currently owns a BBQ truck today. Courtney has been grooming for over ten years. She started out working in different pet shops and even volunteered to groom dogs at the SPCA. She has done several celebrities’ dogs like Latoya Luckett, Jas Prince, and others. She has obtained a certification as a pet stylist and has attended many pet grooming workshops and conventions. We’ve grown up around dogs our entire lives and have always loved animals. Since we are all sisters, we thought it would be a great idea to do something that involved what we all love, which is dogs! We wanted to help the community and service everyone. Dog grooming isn’t very popular in all areas, so why not spoil your dog and we come to you.
Has it been a smooth road?
There are always challenges in anything you do, but you have to stay humble and grounded. We decided to set a goal. No matter what obstacles it took to get here, we kept our focus and accomplished them together.

Bossy Paws is a mobile dog grooming service. We specialize in boutique dog grooming. We service many different dog breeds. We are known to make the dog grooming experience comfortable and convenient for the dog and the dog owners. We are proud as the Bossy Paws brand to be able to serve everybody and their pets. We know that pets are important and basically a part of your family. We are set apart from others because our clients will get a personalized experience every time.
Do you feel like there was something about the experiences you had growing up that played an outsized role in setting you up for success later in life?
In our childhood, we had a love for animals. Our parents loved dogs and we were able to have many dogs that were all apart of our family. Our parents instilled in us, as young girls, that we need to have an entrepreneur thought process and challenged us to capitalize on our talents. We have a tight-knit family and we use our solidarity and unity as sisters to support each other in making this a successful business period.
