Meet Jeremy McMahon of Diversecity Music in West of Town

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy McMahon.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I go by JAEVERSE. I am also the founder and owner of DIVERSECITY MUSIC. I started out small dabbling in dancing, which leads to singing and rapping and eventually writing and producing my own music. I’ve been doing music for a good seven years, but taking it serious and to the next level would be close to four years. DIVERSECITY MUSIC came about this year, and its main goal as a business is to give other businesses and artists a platform to take them further in their careers for the future.

Has it been a smooth road?
It was rough starting this journey as most usually are at first. The main struggle I had was believing in myself. At the end of the day, it all depends on how you are feeling and what your next move is. I, as time passed began to regain back my self-confidence and esteem through hard work, patience, my supporters (such as family and friends) and dedication.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the DIVERSECITY MUSIC story. Tell us more about the business.
DIVERSECITY MUSIC is a passion before a business. As a business we assist artists and other companies in their journey of success and prosperity by being a platform and an outlet for them to expand in their form of work. We specialize in artist development. Our goal is to create a platform for independent artist to create opportunities through a collaborative effort that doesn’t rely on mainstream acceptance. I would say I am most pleased with this company’s development and integrity. This business is always striving to be different from other businesses. We as DIVERSECITY MUSIC not only deals with music and musical artists, but every company imaginable whether its a bank, a restaurant, a paper company, etc. we want to ensure that whoever works with DIVERSECITY will be one step closer to success.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I definitely see this company flourishing into being international within 5- 10.
