Today we’d like to introduce you to Mustafa Ozsoy.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Mustafa. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We opened Pasha in 2004. We have been serving Houstonians authentic Turkish-Mediterranean food since then. Pasha has been recognized by prestigious magazines and food critics such as Zagat, Texas Monthly, My Table Magazine.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There is no smooth road. Restaurant business is one of the most challenging businesses. Statistically more than 50% of the new opening restaurants cannot reach their first anniversary. Satisfying costumers, keeping up with the industry standards, staying competitive while establishing the business all are/were challenges.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
Authenticity, consistency, accountability, passion make you different. This is a journey with a full of excitement.
What were you like growing up?
I grew up in a big family with 5 siblings. I have learned how to be strong, how to share, how to deal with difficulties, most importantly how to survive. Over the years I have applied my all experiences to Pasha.
