

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaynne Perez.
Jaynne, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Decorating has always been my passion. My earliest memory is from my 8th Birthday party. I recall the pure excitement and joy when my mother allowed me to pick and set up all the party decor for my upcoming Lamb Chop themed birthday.
Upon wrapping up my party, the theme for my 9th birthday had already been chosen, and decor details were discussed. The look of disbelief on my mother’s face was priceless as she swept the last bit of confetti. This went on year after year.
The first large event I planned, designed, and styled was in 2007. At just 21 years old, I was entrusted to fully plan a Quinceañera which turned out to be a complete success! Following the event, I began planning and designing my wedding and the festivities that are included, such as the bridal shower. While planning the wedding, I was also asked to do smaller events like birthday parties for family and friends. The events would always leave them blown away.
With my confidence growing by the events, I continued with planning my baby shower, which was becoming so much fun and oddly enough a stress reliever. Everyone would encourage me to be a party planner, but I would laugh it off as my plate was overflowing with school, a full-time job, and my son. Having a side gig was out of the question. After accomplishing my bachelors in Business, I still felt like something in me was still missing.
Last year, after planning several parties for family and friends, I decided to take my passion to the next level. Transforming parties into couture celebrations has been a dream come true.
The journey has been quite exciting. I promised myself to take it one day at a time so that I can stay focus and above all, have fun while doing it.
Has it been a smooth road?
When starting a company, the roads are hardly ever smooth, but I’ve taken each experience as a lesson learned.

Absolutely, Houston is the 4th largest city in the nation with a large international community. It is amazing to see how celebrations hold value throughout different cultures. Being in such a large city brings a lot of opportunities. Therefore, it is a promising city to start an event planning business.
