Meet Isla Cervelli of IEC Consulting in Galleria

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isla Cervelli.

Isla, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I always had a passion for acting and painting. Arts have been big in my life and a source of happiness and inspiration. I think along the way, I noticed that I was very unhappy with my decision to become a Doctor. I love helping people in any way I can. I think life is also what you love doing for yourself as well.

So, after seeing and learning that life is too short to not be doing what you are passionate about. I decided to focus on acting and painting. I listen to a lot of music and enjoy singing. My inspirations come from Nature and life itself.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. I actually had to climb and jump certain mountains and rivers across the way. I had to learn that we can not have control over certain situations and sometimes, the best is just to follow your heart and your destiny.

Never fight against life, as life itself is simple, but not easy.

We do complicate things a lot, and I am happy that along this beautiful road called life. I am learning and enjoying it in every single way.

If you aren’t having fun along the hard times of life, there’s no point to live.

So, change your behavior and reaction towards every single negative part of your life, and the ride will be much smoother and pleasant.

Enjoy each moment, and give it all the way. If you don’t give a 100 percent of yourself you will never reach your goals and life accomplishments.

So, for everything I truly believe, I give my all with heart and soul.

Please tell us about IEC CONSULTING LLC.
I do a few different things, as an entrepreneur I love learning and challenging myself to new goals and accomplishments. I am an Artist my main media is oil on canvas and acrylics.

I also promote a lot of locals and no locals as an influencer on social media. I love to create events to connect local brands and fundraise money towards a good cause. Marketing is my main thing, I can literally stop at a local food store and talk with anyone about a product that I love and sell it. I definitely carry the “Sales-person.”

I love inspiring people to do good and grow in every single way they can. I am proud of the gift of Giving. I have donated to the “American Heart Association” “Houston Heart Ball 2019 Imagine with Heart” two of my favorite art pieces, that were sold and the money 100% given to kids with heart conditions. In my opinion, any sacrifice, any charity anything you do for the name of love, and helping another soul, definitely will enrich us and teaches us a lesson to be more given and learn that life is about those little things we do for others.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Seeing my grandma letting strangers that came to her home asking for food to enter and sit with us at the dinner table. I think it’s the most rewarding thing that I ever learned.

My grandma was always so willing to give, even when she barely had anything to share.
I sure wish we all could do more for others in our everyday lives.

It’s putting in practice and into actions the things we know it’s right to do. Think with your heart and you will have a better world. The world you made for you and others including your own family that you love the most.
