Today we’d like to introduce you to Dj Chico Swav A.
So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My origin starts from humble beginnings, born and raised in Chicago land, Illinois. I was the oldest of two sons from Gloria Borrego, Eric Miller Junior and myself born and raised in Joliet, Illinois. On the Towns Eastside, 24 Mississippi Avenue was the start of it all. My upbringing was one of trial-and-error. With highs and lows contributing to the man I am today. I had a wonderful childhood with my grandfather manual grandmother, Blanca, both uncles, Manual Junior, and David Borrego. Shout out to my cousin’s Manual the 3rd, Jessica and David Robert. Some of my biggest influences as an adolescent musically were 2pac, ice cube, and DJ jazzy Jeff.
As a teenager, I was very hard-headed, getting into trouble being disobedient and running with the wrong crowd looking for any and every which way to find an outlet. I struggled with partying drug dealing and drug abuse. In my early twenties, I had received a DUI from a late night of prescription pills, weed and alcohol. I found myself in the county jail on all fours crying out to God to take this pain away from me. With the help of rehabilitation, I had centered my focus back on having a purpose in life. Around the age of 24, I have purchased myself a laptop and began screwed n chopping music. I will admit I was horrified when I began but a year later, my skills improved. Experimenting with different techniques and different sound manipulation, I created a style that was my own. I achieved mediocre appreciation for my online mixes and live sets broadcasted on Google+ to where I had met my fiance Sierra Husk (Beauty Creationz). With our feelings and our relationship deepening, we met up in Wisconsin and moved in together. The 1st year, my fiance purchased A DJ controller for me which was another obstacle for me to overcome. A year into having the controller, my value as a Dj had tripled, I have been a part of many DJ crews starting with madd circle Djs, Chop shop Dj’s, Chop House ent, Slaballstar Djz, and United And Screwed. I have worked with the many artists from remixing albums to hosting mixtapes. Also, mixing and mastering multiple projects. One of my most recent achievements came in 2018, being asked to which ended up giving me an opportunity to run my own radio show Born 2 Win Show which is a variety show showcasing exclusive remakes of some of the world’s top artist and showcasing underground artist. Every Sunday at 3:00 p.m. CST exclusively on Slaughta Houze Radio #TAWSHR App. My plans for the future are to enjoy life prosper and help many on our road to success and happiness. We all have greatness within us and we were all Born 2 Win.

Born 2 Win Entertainment is my brainchild and has made a considerable amount of contribution to many individuals. I am fully committed for quality over quantity and always try my best. We specialize in entertainment whether it be music, dance, beauty, gaming and or streaming. What sets this apart from others is the will to succeed.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see us growing every year and heading towards the goal of self-management. Our goal is to treat everyone with respect and dignity and helping them achieve their goals.
