Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Castanon.
Jessica, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am a Humble, Tx photographer from Houston Tx. I am 25 years old and I am a self-taught photographer who loves it! It was founded in 2017 and I was in depression around that time and was not believing in myself anymore. My husband came home one day with a camera to distract me and we took pictures of everything and everywhere. It was at that time that I realized that I liked photography and that I had an eye for the images I wanted to create. It helped bring my self-esteem up and got me to believe in myself again.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Yes, for the most part, it has been a smooth road for me. I haven’t had any complaints or problems in my company.

I specialize in Wedding. Maternity, Engagement & Boudoir, but I love to challenge myself and do a little bit of everything. I am known for my unique bubbly personality and making my clients feel comfortable and feel like family not just like clients. I am proud as a company to have grown so much in such little time. My vision of making something in my mind to become reality through a picture that becomes like art to me is what sets me apart from others.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for my future is to expand and eventually get a storefront location that photographers can use and enjoy.
