Today we’d like to introduce you to Monique White.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Monique. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have been in media for nine years. I started in this field because of one of my business partners. Our 1st Show ran on Tv for two years and in 2015, I created The Our Life Tv Show.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Any major goals you are trying to reach will not be easy. I would say some of my struggles over the years have been with sponsorship and support. Some people like to support negativity before they support positivity. Over the years, that has been a struggle especially for me being on Tv, But it has gotten much better, I just keep moving to get the vision out.
Our Life Tv Show – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My company is a media company called The Our Life Tv Show that airs on access cable and Tv Streaming Services. I am the founder, executive producer, and host. Our Life was created to show women from all walks of life that we wear multiple hats but we wear multiple MASK also. And it was time that we remove them freely, willing and not be worried about being judged by others. I think what sets me apart is I am very transparent. I can’t tell women to remove their mask freely if I couldn’t remove my own freely. I look back some days and think about my life and the company. I think about where I started at an Internet Cafe then to a Tv Studio-at that point on television, now in other states, Streaming Tv Services, doing mini-shows at women conferences and hosting also. Next stop, national syndication.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I would say being able to move the show to Streaming Tv platforms and the proclamation that I received from the City of Houston. Also, my proudest moment is to see other women remove her MASK and not worry about being judged.
