Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaac George.
Isaac, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I grew up in an Adoption home in north Houston with 13 girls and 11 boys. My adopted parents passed away in high school. I went through physical, sexually, and mental abuse as a child. I had to grow up at the age of 17. My biological passed away in 2012. I have no parents left here. I went to Sam Houston state university for three semesters. Now I am a Case worker for the city of Houston. I am an actor, writer and a poet. I use my life struggles through my art. I’m working on starting a nonprofit for children to find there voices through acting, singing, and dancing.
Has it been a smooth road?
