Today we’d like to introduce you to Yamila Caceres.
Yamila, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
So, last year was my first year as a stay at home mom. And well, I am someone who loves working and keeping busy, so you can already imagine how I might be feeling about not working. Don’t get me wrong, I am very blessed to be able to stay at home with my girls and be a part of their everyday activities and growth development. But I felt like I needed to do something for myself and to keep me busy once in a while. So, with my husband’s (my motivator) help, we started looking into different things I could do. Until one day, my husband ran into photo booths. I was a little hesitant like anyone else is about starting something new. But we both knew I liked talking to people, meeting new people and making people smile. So, we decided to GO FOR IT.
And that is when we decided to get our beautiful Prime Photo Booth. When I first thought of a photo booth, I only envisioned the ones at the mall. Don’t you? Once I realized all the different type of photo booths that were out there, I was instantly hooked and wanted one! My husband and I drove to Dallas where we purchased our booth brought it home the same day and immediately started practicing setting it up and doing “practice” pictures. We started off small like at our neighbors Christmas event and New Year’s event and started growing from there. With the help of God, before anything and then Instagram, Facebook, Business Cards, and word of mouth, we are where we are today!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
With any business, I think that having struggles is what helps you grow into a better you and better business. I think that the hardest part for me has been trying to figure out how to make myself and my booth stand out from the rest. Also, balancing being a mom, a wife and finding time for myself has been something I am still working on daily. It is hard not to get yourself caught up with all of the social media negativity and to not make yourself feel like you can’t do it. Especially in the society we live in now. I believe that my personality and the LOVE I have for everything I do helps me a lot personally to motivate myself to look past negative stuff and keep doing what I am doing to my best ability and to have fun with it, because at the end of the day that is what our photo booth is all about ENJOYING those moments. My mission is that everyone that steps foot in front of our booth feels so happy they go home look back at their pictures one day and can feel they are back in that happy moment that was captured by our booth!

Enjoy The Moments Photo Booth specializes in capturing fun moments! We print our pictures right then and there, in a format of 2×6 or 4×6 depending on your preference. We customize all of our templates to match the theme of your event. We provide backdrop and prop table. All you have to do is bring your best silly face! We are known for being super friendly and going over the top for our clients. We love to help you out if you are not sure of what poses to do or what props to grab. We ENJOY being able to help you have fun in front of our camera! We are most proud of the fact that we can make people smile! Smiling is a huge thing for us as a company and having fun is our motto. If we aren’t fun our clients, won’t feel comfortable enough to have fun in front of our camera. Our clients become our friends and that is something we will forever cherish. Our booth is something that can add fun to ANY event. Wedding, Baby shower, Graduation, Corporate Event, Quinceañera, Holiday Parties, School Events, Promos and so much more!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I honestly feel like there is nothing I would do differently, I feel like where I am now with my business is exactly where I should be, since we have only been doing this for a couple of months. I have still so much more to offer and to learn so that I can expand! As my children grow, I know that things will become easier as well. As for now, I am gaining friendships and getting help and advice from friends that have photo booths as well. There’s so much to do in so many areas of Houston, seriously, there’s business for everyone! We just sometimes need a push! Without the help of God, my husband, and my family, I would not be where I am at today. I am so thankful to our families they have been a huge help and our support system through all of this. If you aren’t sure about starting, just GO FOR IT! The only thing that might be holding you back is yourself, don’t let yourself feel like you can’t do something, you got this! ENJOY the life you’re living! I hope that one day, we can meet and that we will be able to help you with future events.
