Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Wendt.
Alexis, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
As a native Houstonian, my career background started in the traditional college route with Marketing and General Business degrees from Texas Tech University. The past decade I’ve been working in all facets of business from marketing, business development, recruiting, and HR in small businesses and the tech industry. I always knew I wanted to go the entrepreneurial route but didn’t quite have the clarity of what I really wanted to do. I lived in Austin for the past 8 years, and during that time about 3 years ago, I got in a major car accident that shook my world up. I woke up to the fact that the life I was living was not in alignment with who I am or who I could be at my best. I immediately took action and started working with a life coach producing wonderful results. At the end my time with her, my coach suggested that I attend the University of Santa Monica for the Spiritual Psychology program. I knew immediately I had found what I was meant to be doing with my life. After 10 months of traveling between Austin and Santa Monica and 240 training hours of diving in deep to my own inner work, I made the conscious choice to become a life coach and coach others through this same transformational process I had the gift to experience. I like to say that coaching found me – the synchronicity of events that awakened me on this spiritual success path was divine intervention. Today I am building my business in Houston surrounded by family and my own team of coaches and professionals. I absolutely love the work I do and feel fulfilled being able to live a life of service.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
This path was a turbulent but graceful road for me. Looking inside and doing the inner work around our belief systems and emotions is not for the faint of heart. The biggest struggle was kicking up the dirt that I had let settle earlier in my lifetime. This process is like peeling an onion with many layers.
Additionally, my world was turned upside down from what I knew it to be. Many life changes occurred in a short time span in regards to relationships and life choices, so there was the discomfort of being out of my comfort zone for an extended period of time. However this is where the real magic in life happens – just outside the comfort zone. It was all worth it. My life is a beautiful masterpiece today and a continual unfolding of the gifts available in this lifetime.

In my coaching practice I utilize an array of spiritual and practical tools to help my clients experience a deeper sense of trust in themselves, intuition, confidence, and clarity. My clients report radical transformation in how they show up and experience life through a new set of lenses. I specialize in connecting to the heart to tap into your unique meaning of what success is to you, and we work together to clear the path and achieve those meaningful goals that define your success.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I look forward to serving more clients. My goals are to reach many people and help others through this journey of experiencing more for their lives. I have dedicated my life to learning, so I’ll continue to further develop my skills as a coach and businesswoman through continual education and training. I am excited for the future!
