Today we’d like to introduce you to Porcia Davis.
Porcia Davis has combined a love of wellness, beauty, and style to embrace an entrepreneurial passion for consulting and helping others. A native of Austin, TX but residing in Houston for the past fourteen years, she graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health.
“I have always had an eye for fashion and an inner spirit for overall health and wellness,” Davis said. “I have always been driven by life-transforming ventures that help others.”
She later inspired to pursue her dream of becoming a Professional Makeup Artist four years ago. Her leadership skills and healthcare background, combined with her natural eye for beauty, led her to recently establish her own business. She has since expanded her artistry in the launch of BEAT & BLADE during late May 2019 leading a brand through image enhancement services and inspiring others through the journey of life transformation and wholeness.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Organically growing our following base on social media platforms to engage existing and potential clients. We are currently striving to build our brand through massive marketing online and through word of mouth.

We pride ourselves on being qualified, professional, and certified in our offerings. Potential and existing clients can receive education and consultative awareness for each of our services. Our space is welcoming and sanitized to include Professional Makeup Artistry, Certified Microblading, Ombré Brows, Brow Shaping, Classic Lash Extensions, and Laser Teeth Whitening. The vision will soon inherit additional Permanent Makeup (PMU) & Micropigmentation services taking BEAT & BLADE to the next level.
