Meet Trailblazer Leia Crowe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leia Crowe.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I became a personal trainer in 2011 as a complimentary skill to my massage therapy services. I wanted to help women live healthy, active and more pain-free lives. But as I started training clients and helping them with nutrition, I realized there was so much more they needed.

I could prescribe the best program for them, but 8 out of 10 people wouldn’t stick with it. I started to realize I needed to work with women on a deeper level.

That is when I started to offer more “lifestyle fitness” coaching. We take a look at changing habits, changing mindsets, and creating new daily routines that set them up for success.

I started out training stay at home moms in their living rooms, and now I work with women all over the country with my online training services.

I work exclusively with women, many of whom juggle jobs, family, and kids, and need practical, easy to implement lifestyle changes that they can sustain for the long term.

I don’t have my clients weigh themselves. We don’t focus on the scale. My approach is faith-based, as a Christian, and we work on self-confidence, body image, self-discipline, and creating good habits that work with the busy lives of everyday women.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting a business or movement is not easy. It takes time and patience and consistently showing up for your clients, customers or audience.

My main piece of advice would be to be your 100% authentic self. Find what you’re passionate about. What is your mission? What is your message? What is the change you want to bring to the world? Live that message out loud, and the people who need to hear it will come.

We’d love to hear more about Leia Nicole Fitness.
What sets me apart from other fitness professionals, is that I am faith-based and focus exclusively on women’s wellness, body AND mind.

I am not here to help women weigh less on the scale. I think the fact that so many of us are trying to lose weight is a big problem! I want to help women discover their confidence. To see themselves the way God sees them, as beautifully and wonderfully made. To work for “strong” instead of “skinny”.

I don’t just help women lose weight… I help them lose the negative self-talk and insecurities that have been weighing them down for years. I help them lose the excuses and the fear and gain not just lean muscle and sexy curves, but new confidence in their abilities and love for their bodies.

My mission is to change the way women see themselves when they look in the mirror. To help my clients discover the abundant living that comes from a healthy lifestyle… the bangin’ body is just a bonus!

Which women have inspired you in your life?
My mother. She has gone through so much and yet still stands tall, strong and positive every day. She has gotten up more times than she’s been knocked down, and she is a huge inspiration in my life.

I have always looked up to strong women like Serena Williams. Toni Harris, the first female college scholarship position player. Simone Biles, the Olympic gold medalist/gymnast. Women that do things that was once thought couldn’t be done… those women inspire me.
