Meet Gregory Griffin of The Real Estate Twins & New Life Credit Repair Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gregory Griffin.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am your REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL! I have been servicing and selling high-end relationship products for several years and more importantly I have been extremely successful. I started as a banker in 2005 in the Rice Village area (Houston, Texas) building my book of business and gaining the respect of my Superiors. My niche was Business Banking. I was able to capitalize on high dollar deposits and business loans by understanding what was most important to the client. Nine months later, I was promoted to a Business Banking Specialist and generated business banking production for the Galleria, Greenway Plaza, West University, Medical Center, and Rice Village. Combined, these were the most affluent markets for BBVA Compass in the Houston Area. I traveled to appointments daily to meet with influential customers either at their place of business or their local branch to ensure that their banking needs were being met and also capitalize on immediate and future opportunities. I was the #1 Business Banking Specialist in the Houston Market for three years with the company. I feel it was contributed to knowing my clientele, the product I was presenting, and my competition. I do not mean to give you my entire resume in writing however, I feel this is a strong skill set and gift that I possessed which benefited the business culture.

In addition, I have had several successful years working in real estate new home sales. I have worked for luxury builder’s like Perry Homes, J.Patrick Homes and others for almost a decade and have always been at the top of my profession year after year. In fact, I earned the Sales Professional of the year award in 2011 and received dozens of monthly and quarterly awards during my time in this real estate industry. I really appreciate the opportunity and because of the hard nose training and learning the art of networking with the realtor base, which is truly vital to long term success when you want to be the absolute best. This gave me several real estate advantages as I progressed to form The Real Estate Twins brand. Founded by twin brothers Gregory and Gabriel Griffin, we are determined to help our clients reach their goals and dreams. It is our goal to help our clients achieve the American dream of home ownership while building their credit.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
If things were easy, everyone would do it!! There has definitely been some growing pains and learning curves I have overcome, but with my twin brother and Co-Founder Gabriel, by my side we have jumped in headfirst with much success. The average realtor closes on just about 3 to 5 homes a year. I will complete the year with 40 to 45 homes closed which projects me into the future years and creates a growing pattern.

When you are working for a company that is already established, the business model is laid out and the company is basically putting their staff where needed. People are on a daily grind to balance life while still being under the control of someone else and limiting the earning potential. I was constantly having to manage a schedule between working and my home life. Being there for my kids and seeing them grow was quickly passing me by.

By becoming a business owner, I have the ability to control my life and the freedom of how I spend my time. When starting my business, some of the challenges I have faced were creating the perfect structure, developing the right logistics to running an efficient and organized office, finding trustworthy people to work with, and help me develop and run a successful Real Estate Firm. With Real Estate, the nature of the beast is to market yourself and your company in as many areas as possible, but staying organized was also a challenge. My advice: Just hire an amazing assistant.

Going into Business for myself has been the most challenging, but rewarding venture I have ever accomplished. I have been able to spend time with my kids, coach them in their sports, attend awards and events to support them, and have total control of my life.

The Real Estate Twins is a real estate company that was established by Gregory Griffin and Gabriel Griffin. We are twins who have soared quickly with our unique marketing, partnered with a credit repair service, and a great niche for delivering a great satisfaction to our clients.

New Life Credit Repair Group is the sister company that has been overwhelmingly successful in creating “new life” for those future homeowners that aspire to achieve the dream of new home ownership and need credit restoration.

We prepare them with a 90-day goal to help our clients reach their dreams of becoming a homeowner and or grow their lifestyle. This pairing has our company closing 100+ homes in 2020 with the numbers only growing as we are only in September of 2019 and expanding our client base. We are so blessed.

My biggest supporter is Joshua Garza, a fellow Real Estate professional, who has taken every opportunity to help me succeed. He helps me create a mental balance between work and life and pushes me through friendly competition to always grow and improve my business. My Pastor and Dad, Gregory Griffin, who constantly shows support and plants seeds of prayer so I always have a season of harvest. He wants me to win and pushes me to the next level. My Mom, Evelyn Griffin, who is a true prayer warrior and always has my back. She is my moral compass and spiritual ambassador. Last but not least, my Co-Founder, Gabriel Griffin, who has helped me realize two are better than one. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
