I have always had a passion for being able to do something fun on the side outside of my normal 9-5 job. A good friend of mines has a photobooth business and I saw her advertise her company and I was like oh this seems like alot of fun. You get to meet people, watch them grab funny and various props and of course make memories.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road has not been smooth. It has been an adjustment learning the industry, the software, and really learning how to balance a business and work your full-time job at the same time.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Xclusive Photo Bar story. Tell us more about the business.
So Xclusive Photo Bar is a photobooth company out of Houston, TX. We operate a LED photobooth that allows you to take photos with various props. The photobooth itself allows you to text the pictures to yourself, upload them to social media or print them out hard copy.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Luck has played a vital part in my life. Just being able to start the business and get it off the ground has been a blessing and a form of luck in a nutshell.
