Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Moses.
Andrea, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I actually started this journey by not being able to find a job due to an obstacle that was in the way. I actually was at a family member’s home cleaning and their friend asked me to come clean for her. I end up taking her up on the cleaning and she said I did a great job and mentioned I should start a business doing so. I thought it was a great idea. She set up everything for me as far as an email and business cards. The rest was history!! I actually created employment for myself.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road for me. I had a hard time getting consistent clients. I don’t look at that as a struggle now, because I used to that as a way to learn and grow as a business.
A.Moses Cleaning Service – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I’m a residential and commercial cleaning company. My business is a residential cleaning service where I try my best to make my prices very affordable for all my clients. I specialize in monthly, biweekly and weekly services. I also specialize in move ins and move outs along with make readys. I am known for all these services. I also have organizing services which have become very popular for many customers. I’m most proud of my company because I gave up hope on being able to get employment for myself. I turned that obstacle around and made it work out for myself. What sets me apart from others is I don’t just clean for the money, I clean with pride and a purpose. I love watching the transformation and happy faces that I’m able to give each one of my customers. I absolutely love what I do!! Im very proud of my business and I love all my customers.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment I would say would be getting recognized from a radio station for my good works and secondly being asked to give my story in voyage!! I’m beyond happy for all the accomplishments I’m making.
