Thanks for sharing your story with us Corrie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have always been in sales. I did Hotel Sales, Catering Sales, Membership Sales, Advertising Sales before I switched to Balani. It was something that just fell on my lap. I believe it was meant to be… And it was the best decision I have made for my career.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been a very smooth road. Like I was born to do this. I really enjoy meeting new people, designing and styling outfits for my clients. And every time they put on their new garments and you see that they are standing taller, feeling more confident. That’s the best feeling ever.

Balani Custom has been in business since 1961 and what we do is true custom experience. Which means we take 30+ measurements of our clients’ body and creating hand-made garments, giving them a fit that is second to none.
I am most proud of seeing my clients happy and feeling more confident when they wear our garments. I have genuine care for my clients. I go above and beyond for them, giving them a great experience while they are here and making sure I attend to any assistance they need in garment care or styling advice.
What were you like growing up?
I have always been a very organized person. I am very keen to details and I have always loved fashion and modeling. I love traveling, singing, dancing and food.
