Today we’d like to introduce you to Camille Robinson.
Camille, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was always a natural encourager to anyone that I saw in any distressed situation. I became a heavy podcast listener over the years and one day in 2018, while at work with my earbuds in my ear, listening to my favorite podcast, I decided to start my very own! With the purpose of encouraging people who have been through the trauma that life can sometimes hand you and to simply spread the joy of the lord.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Life was never a smooth road for me. I don’t know if it really is for anyone. I was a mom by 16 and by 21, I was a single mom of 4 boys. I had very low self-worth and after being in an abusive relationship for five years, I didn’t know what to do with my life or how I could ever become anything great after I left. How would I rebuild? How would I comeback?
Moments of Joy Podcast – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Moments of Joy podcast shines a light on many different stories. Guests come on and share their low place but they also share how God has helped them to get to a place of being Whole and Healed. Sharing how you absolutely can rebuild after life’s traumas. You absolutely can find joy again. Joy is an option and you can choose Joy again.
We are known for our guests and their amazing and powerful stories. What I’m most proud of is that we have been able to shine the light of the lord into the darkest parts of people’s hearts, using one of the most unconventional ways, Podcasting!
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I feel like it’s very important never to define success based off of another person’s story or the path they took to get there. Success looks different for everyone! Success for me is accomplishing any goal that you set out to fulfill. Success is personal.
