Thanks for sharing your story with us Kyle. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I come from 3 generations of entrepreneurs, I guess you can say it runs in the family. I always wanted to start and run my own business. In college, I would daydream about what I wanted to do after graduation, as a result of the economy at the time, I ended up going into the family business. It wasn’t until several years later, the opportunity came about for me to start my own business. The service industry is a fast pace and exciting avenue to be involved in. I came up with the idea to start a painting company when I, myself called several competitors to come to my house to give me a quote on a project I needed done. It was after several cancelled estimate appointments, bad customer service, and lack of communication, I thought to myself, we need a reliable painting company in our area. Thus, was the birth of Streamline Painting & More where our number one objective is to offer outstanding customer service and craftsmanship found nowhere else!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No successful business comes without a few bumps in the road. As that pertains to us, as a new company it was all about finding the right people for the right job. Estimators, painters, and support staff are key for running a successful painting business. For me, as well, it wasn’t just about filling the roles, it took time, patience, and a lot of effort to find my work team. When you are selling perfection, your team has to come through on that promise.

Streamline Painting & More is a residential and commercial painting company specializing in both interior and exterior projects. We are a full-service company that offers more than just painting projects. We also do general household repairs, floor work, cabinetry refinishing, staining both wood and concrete surfaces, and can build wood privacy fences. We are proud to have such a wonderful customer base, where most of our projects are return clients and/or projects referred to us by previous clients.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I’m not sure I would have done anything differently. All the mistakes and problems I have faced have only been a learning curve for me and have put me where I am today.
