Be-Jeweled Vessels story begins in 2013. James & LaTonya applied their vision of encouraging God’s creation by providing customers with quality retail merchandise and with other inspiring services at a reasonable cost. The name Be-Jeweled Vessels came about out of a casual conversation. The Holy Spirit confirmed this business one night at bible study. He presented a bible before me, opened to the verse Malachi 3:17,18. The year after, He commissioned the company to host a Kingdom Business and Ministry Expo. Our purpose for this is to bring Ministries and Christian. Businesses together to network, to stir the gifts and talents in the heart of the believer to pursue business, and support one another. Through much hard work, We are celebrating in 2019, our 6th year in Kingdom Networking.
Has it been a smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth struggle. Through this process of fulfilling our call, we’ve had to walk alone at times. It was shocking to see that some of our closest friends wouldn’t purchase our products nor come to the Expo. We spent our last dime many times trying to make sure that what God asked us to do, would be performed. If you didn’t have a celebrity status, you’d have to work very hard to get people to trust you and your work. Sometimes people won’t understand that you are new to the business. They’d want you to perform like you are a Fortune 500 company. Sometimes it was hard to understand that you just can’t please everyone.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Be-Jeweled Vessels – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
We are a Christian retail company that provides customers with inspiring products along with other services (such as puppet ministry, gospel artist and author) that will help encourage God’s creation. Hosting the Kingdom Business and Ministry Expo is our company’s valuable asset. We are able to assist in community service through giving, Meet and be more intimate with our customers and create a platform for other businesses like ours to network with ministries and people whose interests are alike.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I appreciate that our city is growing. This gives us a great opportunity to meet new people and expand in our business. What I like least about our city is the construction. It gives this revelation that We as ministries and businesses are constantly in construction mode with people in regards to their wants and needs. Businesses are always changing and reconstructing to benefit the needs and wants of the people. Also there are not enough institutions willing to help small businesses to grow.
