Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Davis.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Paul. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Weeelllll! It all started when I was a little pup. Noooo! LoL!! It all came alive in high school. I was blessed with a gift that have I can’t run from and that’s making people feel good. Rather it’s having a party, being a great listener or even joking around my goal was always to make someone’s day. In high school, I noticed my became greater and more useful and discovered more talents that I had along the way, so what I decided to was take all of that and ball it up into a business. In doing so, it has really opened a lot of doors and allowed me to be able to teach and touch in different areas.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say it’s been a smooth road to what I do today but it haven’t been all bad either. There has been a lot of NO’s and let down’s but you find a way around it and keep pressing forward until something breaks. The entertainment industry is a beast but it will teach you how to be a beast with it if you let it.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about P. Davis Entertainment – what should we know?
P. Davis Entertainment is exactly what It says, we provide entertainment for any occasion. From comedy shows to private music events, etc. We provide it all, now lately we have been doing a lot of private events but we are working on some community events that the whole family can be apart of, that will be coming real soon. That’s the one thing I love about our company, the fact we want to different things that will touch all walks of life. In most companies you can’t find that, it’s either this way or that and some times set one style of audience, whereas to us, as I said before we want to satisfy everyone.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I feel be honest, open, dependable, trustworthy and consistent is the key that keeps up going. I coach football on my spare time and I teach my young boys if you gonna do something do it right the first time and make sure you do it right all the way through. If you gonna do something wrong that’s cool but understand what comes with doing that and be ready to own up to it. The point of it all is to get them to understand let’s just do it right no matter what. I use that concept with the business, just do it right and right all the way through that way we don’t to have our character questioned.
