Today we’d like to introduce you to Kris Bryant.
Kris Bryant is an African American woman from Houston, TX. She is a radio personality, social media content manager, and actress. She partners with local artists, small businesses and entrepreneurs to help them build an audience, gain a broader social media presence and increase their digital footprint. Kris has become one of the City’s most popular radio personalities at GMT radio.
Her big personality has landed her roles in two stage plays, Forever His and Conflicts & Confessions, a web series, Fight for the Family, and the host of the City Highlights radio show. Kris loves being on the radio she says it allows her to have engaging conversations highlighting local businesses and people impacting the city of Houston.
Kris is a mental health advocate, a passion that emerged as a result of being her mother’s full-time caregiver until her death in 2017. With her resonant voice and command on the airwaves, she uses her platform to change the narrative on mental health stigmas. She also hosts an annual mental health awareness event, Rated X, which provides a platform for those struggling with mental health an opportunity to share their stories while raising money for non-profits.

GMT Radio is an Urban Radio Station that caters to Gospel, Old School Hip-Hop, New Music, Top 40 Pop Music and Live Radio Shows. Launched in 2009, GMT (Get Music Tracks) Radio quickly set itself apart by providing music 24 hours a day. We cater to both local and the national artists. GMT Radio provides a platform for a variety of live radio shows and advertising for small businesses to large corporations. Though established within the city of Houston, the GMTRadio Network attracts listeners both nationally and globally via the world wide web. Artists are encouraged to utilize our network to grow their fan base. Businesses are encouraged to utilize our advertising network to expand and grow their business. Again our radio station is very diverse, meaning we play music from Morning Gospel, Old School, New Music, Top 40 POP, and more! I am a radio personality, the host of The City Highlight Radio Show. My show is different because it’s interactive and audience-driven. The listeners help move the content by response on the live and personal messages.
