Today we’d like to introduce you to Willis Guidry Jr.
Willis, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I actually been in the finance and retail world for ten years now. I started as a car salesman for a big auto group. I was just there to get a check honestly. I did not expect to grow the way I did in the business. I learned how to run a business as a sales manager, ecomm director and finance manager with the auto group. After about seven years of being in the auto industry, I was terminated without notice. I was actually just getting out of the hospital when I found out which brought me into a low point in my life. I lost everything I had, my apartment, my car was repo’d, the person I was dating at the time left, it was just bad! After a year with a MLM company I decide in 2016 to start my own Business and Consumer Credit Coaching company. I took all the information and all the relationships I built in the auto industry and I applied it all to my company. I decide that I would make a huge impact on society with the knowledge and wisdom I held from my life experience.
In 2017, I applied all my energy into building my credit and business credit and investing to ensure I didn’t make the mistakes I made when I was an employee. I started seeing the result in my life with credit strategy to help me build working capital for my company and others so I decided to share it with individuals to see them win. Throughout 2017 I continued to serve people by focusing on their goals when it came to their credit and their business goals, and if they didn’t have them, helping them create one was the best feeling. Mid 2017, I met my fiancé and started building with her, as my business and my relationships around Houston and surrounded states continued to grow. I started working directly with some of the top entrepreneurs and business moguls, and Athletes helping them raise their level of awareness on credit and business credit and how to leverage it. Fast forward 2018, we brought our first daughter Cali into the world and that changed my world for the better. I wanted to definitely make a bigger impact in the world now because I wanted my daughter to see how to treated everyone like that were the most important person in the world, so I really started focusing on serving others more
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I struggled financially while I was building. I had to show myself how valuable I was to society. People trusting me. Distractions from friends and family who just wanted to hold you back or put you in a box with them and their problems. I had to deal with clients stealing from me after service. I also experience rude people, but through it all it only humbled me more. God has definitely put a lot of patience and understanding into me. Losing partners or ending relationships with friends who didn’t want to grow.

Brave Asset Group, LLC is Business and Consumer Credit Strategist Coaching Company which means we actually have true plan or system set in place to help the average individual build their consumer credit profile to leverage it to start a business and then strategically plan building your business credit portfolio to acquire working capital or vendor credit. What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was big into basketball, but I also notice that I was into reading. I remember reading a self-development book when I was like 16 years old. I actually share that book with an uncle and he was shocked I had it. I was close to my two sisters and my brother. Our entire family was close. I remember hanging out with my great grandmother who was a barber and entrepreneur for 44 years. She was the only entrepreneur I knew in the family and I actually followed her footsteps in cutting hair. People don’t know I’ve been a barber since I was 17 years. She actually taught me. I spent a lot of time traveling playing basketball with different AAU teams.
