Meet Alyssa Case of Graze Htx

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Case.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
GRAZE htx was started when I saw a need in the Houston entertaining space. Being the busy, working city that Houston is, I created GRAZE to provide people an easy way to entertain guests and build community while eating something equally delicious and beautiful.

Has it been a smooth road?
I have been very fortunate that GRAZE htx was welcomed so warmly. The challenge has been keeping up with the meat & cheese board demand! There have been some bumps in keeping up, but I hardly consider that a bump or struggle!

We’d love to hear more about your business.
GRAZE htx creates unique and handcrafted meat & cheese boards for delivery in Houston, TX. What sets GRAZE htx apart is the local aspect. I try to keep everything as local as possible. For example, all of the cheeses used are Texas cheeses. The edible flowers are grown locally. The honey is made here in Houston. I am most proud of the integrity of my company. Keeping everything local and supporting other small businesses has been a key element from the inception, and I am really proud to keep that at the forefront.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I think Houston is an incredible place for small businesses. Houston has so many different facets and resources for someone starting a business, not to mention it is inspiring to be in a city with so many hard-working and driven people. From my experience, everyone has been so warm and welcoming and excited to support an entrepreneur.
