Today we’d like to introduce you to Briana Banks.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As I grew older, I became skilled at decorating parties as well as cooking and making treats. I would often be complemented by others. So that’s when I decided to extend my services to family members, friends, and then others. This was the beginning of my 1st small business. My creative niche from younger has further developed over the past ten years as a mom of three boys, two girls and a wife.
I have become skilled in so many talents that is exemplified in things like cooking, decorating, and DIY projects just to name a few. Together all have led to the discovery of Khain of Talents (KOT), which is the business I own today. With this God-given gift, I am able to enjoy thinking outside of the box while developing products straight from my imagination.
Has it been a smooth road?
Since starting Khain of Talents it has not been a smooth road for me. I would much rather have a website and social media in full affect as I believe this would help me in a much more professional way. I also believe with the above it will help others take my business much more seriously. I would say my struggles along the way would include promotion and building a clientele. It isn’t as easy as me coming up with an idea for an event. Taken that today things are based off of social media it’s really important that I push myself in this area even if there’s only a few people that will inquire. My advice to other women would be though you may feel inferior or overwhelmed push yourself because small businesses holds all the excitement and potential.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Khain of Talents – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I am your event planner who specializes in making memorable events for my clients. A personalized event starts with the decor because it can transform a space into an expression of one’s identity through personalized accessories. I am known for creating the best unique pieces such as personalized invitations, backdrops, t-shirts and more. I use my unique decor and desserts as the centerpiece of my business, and this aspect sets my company apart from other companies. I am most pleased with my ability to create a fantastic event on any budget.
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
The most important piece of advice that I would give a young woman is one’s success is in the eye of the beholder. If you know your purpose in life, every day will be a new adventure that you are ready to tackle. I believe tangible items do not determine success; instead, it is determined by a feeling of accomplishment. Once that happens, an individual will put all their energy into their business and see it flourish before their eyes. As a result, you will enjoy going to work and look forward to setting new goals daily. Your motivation will allow you to achieve accolades that are reserved for the best of the best.
