Nina started braiding as a professional in 2014. She worked for three different salons, then started braiding on her own from her living room. Then moved her business to a four bedroom where one room was her braiding shop for ten months. It was time to rent a space just for her business, so After about ten months, she rented a space in an office building at 2626 sloop w Houston TX, 77054 as time went by her skills and experiences improved to custom machine made wigs, saw-in and, much more. Nina Beauty Empire which used to be African braids by Nina, felt the need to become bigger and better. After 12 months of hard work, the empire now owns her place at 12640 Broadway St suites 106 Pearland TX, 77584. As the say goes, “always reached for the sky. If you don’t reach the sky, you may catch a few stars” as our empire strives for perfection, we will continue to grow. Bigger and better.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was never an easy road, for nothing good comes easily. I had two major difficulties. First, when I was in cosmetology school, being a mom of two and at the same time working. I was always tired, but I never gave up, then the building process took a lot longer than I thought because of steps the city of Pearland requires to be followed. It was very stressful and challenging

We will nurture, strengthen, and healthily grow your hair with our soft touch, proper technique, combined with the best products while considering your hair needs, at a friendly price, and accompanied with great customer service, so that you will come in as a guess, and will leave as family.
What we pride ourselves in is what sets us apart from other braiding salons. Our goal is to provide healthy hair care service only possible by a trained, passionate, and professional hair stylist. The need for Nina Beauty Empire is real. Many hair techniques, including old braiding techniques, have resulted in a lot of damage to women’s edges. This is usually a hard lesson learned by this woman who then embarks on a healthy hair journey. The problem is they have a hard time trusting hair braiders. Nowadays, people are more aware of hair damages and the need to avoid unnecessary hair loss or hair baldness is important. Therefore, going to a licensed stylist who can advise on what type of braids will fit your lifestyle, face shape, hair texture and hair density is crucial. A professional stylist will also provide a proper shampoo (cleansing, hydrating, and conditioning) and will advise you on a hair treatment that matches your hair characteristics. Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I was the least intelligent of 8 girls, which made me look down on myself most of the time. The fear of not achieving great things in life made me work harder each time to make sure I become independent and successful.
